there is a giant ash cloud coming from Chile sitting over NZ. This means that Quantas will not fly to Auckland. Thus I am in a courtyard marriott (thanks quantas) chilling, trying to figure out what my next step is, and how I might conceivably get to Auckland, and then to Wellington. Any thoughts on what to do? things to entertain myself while either in a hotel, in an airport, or in a shuttle in between?
good news is that I have made two friends who are in similar situations - one going to Auckland and the other to rent from the same person as I in Wellington.
